Since most of you are out of the office (and hopefully enjoying the beautiful day!), we thought we’d use today’s post to review the 18 unique perspectives and voices we’ve highlighted so far. - @AdamSinger: Adam Singer is one of the most influential voices in data-driven PR. Adam’s blog, The Future Buzz, is also frequently cited as a “must-read” for digital marketers. Follow Adam to hear more of his insights on analytics.
- @AlizaLicht: We’ve been fans of Aliza – the mastermind behind @DKNY and DKNY PR Girl – since when she was still tweeting anonymously!) We love her smart mix of insights and entertainment – not to mention her live Scandal tweets on Thursdays.
- @ArikHanson: Arik is a brilliant PR pro and leading industry blogger. He shares a wealth of PR case studies, resources and tips; plus, as co-founder of HAPPO, he’s a big champion of making connections between PR pros – both online and off.
- @bitty_boop: Follow Brittany James for a fresh perspective on PR and a behind-the-scenes look at what it’s like to be an up-and-coming PR pro in NYC.
- @CherylSnapp: PR expert and Forbes/WSJ contributor Cheryl Snapp Conner shares a mix of strategic and tactical advice for PR pros and entrepreneurs. We love her fresh perspective on the intersection of communication and business and always gain valuable insights from her posts.
- @chuckhemann + @kenburbary: Chuck Hemann and Ken Burbary are two guys who should be at the top of your “must-follow” list if you want to learn more about analytics. Their book, Digital Marketing Analytics, is complete with 300+ pages of tips, tricks, tools and insights to help PR pros on the front lines understand and leverage digital data. - @cschweitz: Consider Callie Schweitzer, director of digital innovation for Time Magazine, our current digital media crush. And we’re not alone: Last year, TIME magazine named her Twitter feed one of the world’s best AND Business Insider named her one of the most important women under 30 in tech.
- @davidspinks: David Spinks may not call himself a PR guy, but that doesn’t mean we can’t all learn a thing or two from this community builder turned startup co-founder. Advice, insights and anything in between .. if Spinks writes it, we’ll read it.
- @griner: David Griner is what happens when smart content, digital savvy and emerging tech combine. David is a digital content strategist by day and freelance writer, editor, and public speaker by night. Add that he’s a “passionate advocate for women in leadership” and he’s definitely earned a spot at the top of our must-follow list.
- @jenny_blake: Chock full of tips and tools to increase efficiency and effectiveness, Jenny Blake’s business ninja tech toolkit is a must-read. We also appreciate Jenny’s approach to business, like working when you’re most productive (even if that means swapping a work day for a weekend!) and learning to embrace chaos.
- @jesslaw: Jessica Lawlor is a young PR pro and freelance writer who shares a combination of honest commentary and actionable tips for “getting comfortable with being uncomfortable” through her blog and “Get Gutsy” e-newsletter. Follow Jessica on Twitter for an additional dose of insights and inspiration.
- @jorcohen: Jordan Cohen manages PR for The New York Times. At the intersection of journalism and PR, Jordan has a unique perspective on the industry. Follow him for entertaining and insightful commentary on all-things newsworthy.
- @KarenSwim: We love Karen Swim’s creative and genuine take on storytelling, whether that’s a business post sharing lessons learned from The Oscars or a heartfelt reflection on coming back to work after life-changing events.
- @nomeatballs: Amy Taylor is hands down one of the most creative brains we’ve ever met (Seriously, just look at this infographic she created highlighting everything cool about Columbus). If you follow her, just don’t mention meatballs.
- @samhosenkamp: With three years of managing social media for Ragan and PR Daily on her resume, Sam Hosenkamp has a pulse on all-things social and PR and regularly shares insights and advice to help other pros do the same.
- @tamadear: Tamsen Webster has a way with words – and using very few to make a big impact. (Just check out her thoughts on branding and zombies to see what we mean!) Follow Tamsen for all things content and digital.
- @TDefren: Todd Defren is on the forefront of digital PR as CEO of one of the top small agencies in the country and one of the most influential voices in the PR industry. Online or in-person, Todd offers invaluable advice on PR, social media and business, so we pay close attention to anything and everything he says.
