I am a listmaker. I love the sense of accomplishment that comes when I can cross something off my list. I’ve tried to switch over to the Outlook tasks and other online list programs, but it never works. I always go back to paper.
But, yesterday, I discovered an amazing online tool that can help anybody organize everything. It’s digital listmaking heaven. Springpad bills itself as “free online notebooks.” Once you sign up for an account, it’ easy to start making to-do lists, managing birthdays and anniversaries, tracking gift-giving, planning meal schedules, managing recipes, and lots more. Any type of list you want — you can make it on here. Plus, you can create as many lists as possible, jot down ideas to “file” later, and add notes to lists — just like your old paper system.
Springpad seems to be a great organization tool — one that will help me be more disciplined in the New Year. If you’re a list maker, stop relying on PostIt notes and check out Springpad!
