I’m a fast talker. But, I had no idea I could talk THIS fast!
Last week, I delivered an Ignite-style opening-night keynote presentation at Evo Conference. (If you’ve never seen an Ignite talk, it’s fast: 20 slides, 15 seconds per slide.) 15 seconds isn’t a long time to talk about any topic, let alone something as complex and life-changing as my visit to Haiti earlier this year. Thankfully, I talk fast … super fast!
The presentation wrapped up with four lessons that I learned in Haiti. The mots important one? Social media provides us with an opportunity to speak for those without a voice. Own your voice. Use it. And don’t ever let anyone make you feel bad about it.
Whether you want to be entertained by my verbal quickness, or if you’re genuinely interested in my journey from Evo ’10 to Haiti and back to Evo ’11, I hope you’ll take 5 minutes to watch this video:
