This is one of my pet peeves, as well. I try to always be present in whatever I'm doing, whatever that may be. Usually when I'm at work, I will work on one project or task for a while, then take a short break to check Twitter or read blog posts, then go on to another project, but it drives me insane when people “multitask” over a meal or meeting. I think people are starting to lose their social skills.The fact that teens now talk more via text than face-to-face (http://www.aolnews.com/tech/article/pew-study-t…) really unnerves me. Perhaps because I talked so much when I was in high school. I sometimes wonder if all this technology isn't worth the time and money we spend on it. We have more information at our fingertips than ever, but what are we using it for?
