It's terrible to tell somebody willing to risk their life for this country that they should hide their sexual orientation. Grunts don't give a damn is a person is gay, just so long as they are a good soldier. A significant portion of the military's Arabic translators- severely understaffed already and sort of a critical position- were fired for being homosexual.
