Admittedly, I am not the world’s greatest LinkedIn user. However, enough people have told me that they derive significant business value from their personal participation, that I’m warming to the idea. As I work on 2014 planning, I’m trying to be more intentional about LinkedIn. That said, asking for recommendations has always felt a little off to me. (Though, it could just be because I’m not a hardcore LinkedIn-er.)
