Nonprofit PR Packages

I’m often asked how I decided to name my company Geben Communication. The word “geben” means “to give” in German. Giving back is really important to me. It’s why I sit on boards and volunteer for committees and why I encourage our employees to also support nonprofits and causes they believe in. Since I launched Geben, we’ve offered a highly discounted rate for nonprofits that want to work with us, but can’t afford the standard agency budget. I also realize that many nonprofits don’t want or need to put a PR agency on retainer, yet they could use some assistance with specific projects. It’s this type of service that we’re unveiling today. Based on our own research and conversations with PR people at nonprofits, we’ve developed four PR packages to meet the needs of today’s forward-thinking organizations. Non-profit PR Packages include:

  • Social Content Audit + Recommendations: We’ll analyze up to five existing social networks and provide a report detailing what’s working, what’s not, and opportunities for improvement. Additionally, we’ll provide a recommended approach for each network and “content buckets” to drive your social strategy moving forward. This package also includes a 1-hour call to review findings/recommendations and answer any questions from your team.
  • Social Campaign Concepting:We’ll schedule a 1-hour kickoff call to understand your campaign goals, timing and resources. Based on that conversation, we’ll develop three campaign concepts for consideration and schedule a follow-up call to review. After you select your favorite, we’ll provide a detailed campaign description and specific steps to guide implementation.
  • Ambassador Program Development: We’ll schedule a 1-hour kickoff call to discuss your influencer outreach goals, plus review any influencer relations efforts thus far. Based on that conversation, we’ll develop three program concepts for consideration and schedule a follow-up call to review. After you select your favorite, we’ll provide a detailed program description, as well as a suggested list of ambassadors/participants created specifically for your organization.
  • Non-Profit PR Trends Report: We’ll send you a monthly overview of trends, tools, data, case studies and best practices, specifically designed for forward-thinking non-profit communicators.

Work for or volunteer for a nonprofit? If you think we can be of assistance, let’s connect. Email me at heather [at] gebencommunication.com. The packages are priced to be very friendly for nonprofit budgets. All of us at Geben look forward helping even more nonprofits take a fresh approach to PR and social media as they work toward achieving their missions.
